香滑流沙包
Ok, after a long search, I’ve finally found something that is worthy of Eleven Hexagons.
It’s the 香滑流沙包, “No. 22” on the Tim Sum menu of Laureate Chinese Restaurant.
If you are a fan of custard buns, this is 100 times better. The smooth white bun is filled with heavenly liquid egg custard with crunchy sugar chucks. Order early, as the restaurant takes about 15 minutes to serve and eat it while it’s hot.
